Challenge your fears took just over three weeks to create and pushed my creative boundaries to new levels. The manic process of allowing each droplet to fall in a carefree manner whilst achieving a sense of control and balance is seen here. At the same time there’s an ongoing battle with multi-directional movement of paint dripping down the canvas challenging each droplet in its path. Inspired by Jackson Pollock, my drip paintings follow in the footsteps of this great artist, I hope they do him justice as I put my own stamp on them.
I always listen to music whilst painting, Jimmy Eat World – The Middle is not only one of my favourite songs but sums up how I felt whilst painting Challenge your fears. It has such a positive message and I hope this is reflected in my art.
Abstract art to buy…. Abstract art to love…. Abstract art to impress…Abstract art to cherish!
